The Seattle City Council needs to hear from you! The Seattle Preschool Program is up for renewal on the November ballot, and we want to make sure that this critical program continues.
Last month we asked you to contact Mayor Durkan to urge her to strongly support the Seattle Preschool Program. Now it’s time to let the City Council know that their voters believe the Seattle Preschool Program should be a big priority. Please use the link below to contact your local councilmember to tell them you support the Seattle Preschool Program and ask them to ensure that it continues.
The Seattle Preschool Program is improving outcomes for children and making preschool more affordable for families. Early results show the Seattle Preschool Program is helping children of color and children from low-income households or families that don’t speak English make big gains in kindergarten readiness.
Funding for Seattle Preschool Program will run out in the next year. Now is the time that our elected officials need to hear from Seattle residents. Please contact them today!
