WEATHER-RELATED CLOSURES:
Launch will typically, with the exception of school breaks, follow the Seattle Public Schools/Renton Public School schedule for hazardous weather; this means if Seattle Public Schools/Renton Public School are closed, Launch will be closed as well. If Seattle Public Schools/Renton Public School open one or two hours late, Launch will follow the same schedule. Launch will be closed if Seattle Public Schools/Renton Public Schools cancels after-school activities.
If Launch is open when schools are closed, and we are faced with extreme weather conditions, Launch will determine early closures, full closures, or delays. The information will be communicated in the site’s voicemail, the Launch website, social media accounts, and an email sent to families.
Launch leadership will determine a closure as early as 8:00 pm the night before and no later than 6:00 am on the day of the closure. In the event conditions become unsafe during the day, Launch reserves the right to close early for the well-being of our staff and families.
Closures will be posted on Launch website, social media and communicated from Site Managers!
