We have a great summer planned! Children will make friends, play and learn, and enjoy fun, hands-on activities based on weekly themes:
Week 1 (6/29 – 7/2): Getting to Know You
Come tell us your story! We’ll share our family traditions and cultures, make new friends, and create a positive, respectful camp community.
Week 2 (7/6 – 7/10): Go for the Gold!
Launch at Miller will host its own 2020 Olympics by trying out some events ourselves! We’ll learn about the culture and history of the Olympics and enjoy field day.
Week 3 (7/13 – 7/17): Under the Sea
Did you know that 70% of earth’s surface is underwater? We all know about whales and sharks, but have you ever seen a giant isopod? Northern stargazer? Or a vampire squid? Join us as we lean all about what lurks beneath!
Week 4 (7/20 – 7/24): Messy, Gross, Fun Science
Roll up your sleeves, it’s time to get messy! We’ll be exploring the expanses of our galaxy and the natural beauty of our home planet.
Week 5 (7/27 – 7/31): Things That Go Boom!
All things loud and explosive! Volcanoes, tidal waves, earthquakes, fireworks, jets, sonic booms and more.
Week 6 (8/3 – 8/7): Fantasy & Creativity
All about your favorite fantasy and science fiction worlds and characters including superheroes, hobbits, fairies, and aliens!
Week 7 (8/10 – 8/14): Outdoor Explorers
Come explore the world around us! We’ll learn what makes the Pacific Northwest so special!
Week 8 (8/17 – 8/21): Launch Has Talent!
Let’s just face it: we’re all talented superstars. We’ll get creative and express ourselves through art, dance, music, and more.
