Our 1st-Annual Launch Family Carnival “Fun”draiser was an unforgettable day that brought together families, supporters, staff, and community! Hundreds of people flocked to Van Asselt Community Center to celebrate the people who make our organization so special – our students! Attendees enjoyed game booths designed and operated by Launch students and staff. From a pool of painted rubber duckies to a cardboard claw machine, creativity dazzled at every corner.

Guests enjoyed a variety of activities, starting with the lively photo booth where everyone captured memories. The Double Dutch Divas put on an incredible show, wowing the crowd with their jump rope skills, while the cake walk kept participants on their toes for a chance to win delicious treats. Kids and adults alike had a blast with the face painting station, transforming into everything from tigers to fairies. The Soak a Launch Teacher booth was a hit, with volunteers getting drenched as brave teachers faced the water splash challenge. With plenty of sunshine to enjoy, it was an unforgettable event that brought the community together and helped support a great cause!

Thanks to you, our incredible community, our Launch Family Carnival “Fun”draiser brought in over $37,000! Thank you for attending the event, donating, spreading the word, and supporting Launch, our programs, and our fantastic students. We could not do what we do without our Launch family of supporters! These funds help us to continue to serve more working families from all backgrounds – particularly those furthest from educational justice. Real impact happens when we come together!
